Constituent Meeting of Equality for Security Project Grantees

January 29, 2019, grantees of the Equality for Security Project held a meeting in Kyiv.

NGOs representatives from Vinnytsya, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Luhansk and Khmelnytskyi Oblasts learned about reporting requirements of the Ukrainian Women's Fund, agreed on communication within the project to ensure broad coverage of all projects that will be implemented in 5 oblasts. The Equality for Security Project is implemented by the Ukrainian Women's Fund in partnership with the Women's Information-Consultative Centre (Ukraine) and Centre for Equity Advancement (Lithuania).

The project aims to increase women’s participation in peace-related and conflict prevention processes by supporting local authorities and civil society organizations in developing, implementing and monitoring regional and local action plans for implementation of the National Action Plan on UNSCR 1325 on Women, Peace and Security until 2020.
